An afternoon of scientific enquiry in Y2

This afternoon, the children experienced a range of activities based on light, magnetism, water and forces. Although this is a Y2 class they were encouraged to explore Junior science concepts. Well done , all you budding scientists.

Science in the outdoor environment.

Class 2G spent a sunny afternoon learning all about mini-beasts. Our outdoor areas provide us with hands-on experiences which reinforce our learning in class.

Miss Barrett and Discovery Dog

Discovery Dog and his puppy niece (Jack and Wendy) are a new addition to Year Two. The two pet dogs help the children to understand science in a fun way. Here they are finding out about forces when Miss Barrett's shopping bag breaks and her shopping rolls away.
