'Konichiwa!' (That's 'Hello in Japanese')
|
Year 6 have recently completed a topic on Japan. They have studied the culture, art and history of this fascinating country. The photos below show some of the children's manga drawings; their names in Japanese
Katakana; their
haiku poems; their interpretations of the famous Japanese painting
The Great Wave; and an example of an original
yokai - Japanese folk story monster. 6P also did a fantastic Japanese assembly and learned how to count to twenty (
ichi, ni...) and the words to Mary had a Little Lamb!
